Local newcomer resources
Help newcomers settle in with less guesswork.
We are assembling a small, useful group of Birmingham-area services for the practical work that begins after a move decision.
The first contributor model
A practical resource, clearly labeled.
Who fits
We are looking first at Birmingham-area movers, move managers, organizers, storage providers, cleaners, and similar services that help a newcomer get established. A partner must serve the locations they name and be able to give readers a clear, accurate next step.
What a local contributor receives
A credited source mention when their useful tip is published, a link to a relevant page when the guide has earned enough reader interest to make that worthwhile, and a finished resource they can share with their own customers. There is no fee, exclusivity, or promised traffic at this stage.
How we protect readers
Paid placements, discounts, affiliate arrangements, or any other material relationship will be labeled where a reader sees the partner. A listing is not a claim that a provider is right for every situation, and Birmingham Move Guide does not share a visitor’s contact details without that visitor’s direct permission.
How the first conversation works
We will ask what problem you solve for a newcomer, the cities you serve, what makes your service practical during a move, and whether you can offer a concrete tip or perk. We will then decide whether the resource improves the guide before any listing is published.
The form starts a conversation. It does not create a listing, partnership, or promise of traffic.
- Moving and storage
- Organizing and unpacking
- Downsizing and move management
- Move-in cleaning
- Rental-search support
Local contributor conversations are invitation-led while the guide is earning its first audience. No business is listed or represented as a partner until both sides agree on the wording, link, and disclosure.
